Many people have been ruminating on the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" this weekend -- noting the differences between what the film predicted and what has actually come about since the movie was made.

Not in their wildest dreams would the makers of that film ever thought that "my cookie expired" would become an intelligent cyber-statement.
