Hmmm...OK leeneia. I expect you know that rhymes in songs and poetry take many different forms and patterns. They often do not follow the rules in textbooks. This sort of variant however is not uncommon, and not, I believe, considered incorrect, just different. It could even reveal the songmaker or poet's sense of humor. I wonder if it would rankle our ears were it not occurring with a commonly mispronounced place name?

I wish I could hear the whole song. I like what I heard of Big Twist's singing.
