Well, when I was in high school we had a small brown dachshund named Mousse (pronounced to rhyme with goose), a male dachshund, who was firmly convinced he was (or should be) a female cat, and when the mommy cat left her litter in the box and went to the other box to use the other kind of litter, Mousse would jump in with the kittens and try to force them to nurse on his tummy. Now, that was weird.
