he gave me a lot of encouragement, I have his song book which he signed for me, his praise and comments on the fly leaf of the book, have helped to keep me going through many barren periods on the uk folk scene, thankyou Ron, for all the times you booked me at Stockton folk club for all your help and encouragement.
