Nice surprise this morning when my phone made the "ca-ching!" noise of an old fashioned cash register, the signal from eBay that something sold. The second of two silk screened t-shirts a friend makes. These were spares that I figured might sell vs donate to Goodwill.

Light drizzle this morning. I was out in the garden pouring soapy water over my okra to push off some of the ants. This year ants have been a plague as they devour the tender new growth on various crops, in particular the cucumbers, eggplant, and okra. I followed the soap with some puffs of diatomaceous earth.

Susan, I found a box of sports plaques and photos in my attic a few months after I moved in. During my research on this empty house (that had been on the market for about 18 months) I discovered who the previous long-term renters were and interviewed them to learn about the condition of things. I was able to take that box over and restore some of their sports-related history.
