I think a case might be made that Project Fear was actually rather respobnsible: with no answers to a number of very important questions - currency, finance, inherited debt, diplomatic relationships, any one of which could have sunk the operation - it was an act of purblind folly to simply say we'll leave. What is also irresponsible is his resignation. As leader of a Party which lost a constitutional vote, the entire Party should have resigned, according to past precedent, bringing on a General Election.
