I think that the problem is mostly with books - in the UK some things can be sent fairly cheaply but get over a certain size or weight and the cost rockets or you can't even post it using that tariff - or in some cases not at all, due to the length or the weight being outside the allowed value.

My daughter came round to help sort out her old bedroom, and began to appreciate just how much stuff there is in there to be sorted through. We made a start and she took quite a few treasured items home - plus found some things which would be really useful but we filled a large bag with rubbish.

We seem to have had just the three mice in the house - which seems strange, but the tempting chocolate bait got them very quickly and now it is still there untouched.
