Too tired and, well, I don't know what, last night to post.

Yesterday was absolutely lovely. I had the first cameo concert at the Portsmouth Athenaeum (private library -- magnificent collection of paintings, ship models, etc. lining the high walls) and Emery Hutchins (who was emceeing) accompanied me on concertina on three songs, the rest I did a capella. Really strange performing there without Tom...

Then I ran the show at our new venue, Book & Bar. What a wonderful place! The music and audience was great, good selection of beer and Laurette assured me they had an exquisite selection of wine. The food there is also very good and...hey! books! Reasonably priced pre-read books. What more could one ask for? And we didn't have to compete with the game on big screen TVs as previous years at The Rusty Hammer.

And then at 5:00, we drowned out the motorcycles at the Shanty Blast.

I just realized I have a bunch of things that have to be done before I head over to a friend's at 3:30, so I'd better get doing them.
