It is really happening! The roof repair is moving along!! I was going to go to the country but am staying home in case .... I cleared anything that might have been damaged by mere men. The last time B worked upstairs, he managed to tear a silk quilt. I went through the roof over that. Why would anyone put a ragged piece of wood on a silk quilt???? So I moved everything - I hope - and covered the bed with plastic and styrofoam. They have to go through the BR to get to the roof.

Just computering and reading as I do not have anything else to do. Dishes are washed; laundry up to date. Plenty of cooked food in frig. May go for a walk just to get out of house.

The roof should only take a couple days..... I am hoping to get R to help me sort out the BR next week so we can use it. It is SO discouraging to wake up in the dark - at 9 am! ANY progress at all is encouraging.
