Right, the roundhouse was a half way decent place to hang out for hobos looking to catch one out. In the old song from the 1800s (after the demise of General Custer)"THE DREARY BLACK HILLS" a portion goes:

The roundhouse at Cheyenne is filled every night
With loafers and rounders of most every plight,
