I have finished revising the resume and letter of interest for the job that opened on Friday. Now to print it out to rest and give it a final proof read, then send this puppy in!

Next, to review some of the materials that I went through when the job was open before, a refresher and to determine what kind of training I would have to request. If I am interviewed again, I think if I know how to easily address areas where I need more training, it makes it easier to see how many other skills I already have. They took out a requirement that the applicant be familiar with PeopleSoft software that is used for personnel management, budgeting, and all sorts of other internal workings. The people who designed it put in stuff they wanted but didn't consult those on campus who would also have to use it, so they are madly trying to hire folks with PeopleSoft skills. I'm glad to see that this job no longer requires them.

I'll go walk the dogs now and do some more chores, then take a fresh look at these pages in a few hours.
