Sounds about right. I work on every home match, at the ground I put a tenner on a possible combination between 20/1 and 30/1. Over a season of, lets say I get to 12 games and might remember to put an on line bet when I don't get there, so 20 in a year? I average one or two wins, and just about make money. The thrill of "almost" being the lure, not the pound notes.

That said, if I bought lottery tickets and won a wheelbarrow load of dosh, I'd hire an open backed wagon and put a throne on the back, getting a mate to drive me round town whilst I flicked Vs at the peasants.

Anything left, I'd share between the local pub till and greyhound welfare charities.
