When we cleared out our folks' house, the auctioneer insisted that we throw out nothing, other than actual garbage. He was quite certain there was a market out there for everything you could imagine and much you couldn't. So if you figure an auctioneer will be hauling away your earthly possessions when you're gone, you might want to just shove those tapes in the back of a closet, rather than throwing them away.
