Tom: In search of the grail. You're close to New Haven etc. lots of places to play. Get yourself a copy of the New Haven Advocate. It lists lots of Open Mics etc. (If your into open mikes.) For example, tonight in Chesire there is an open mic at Pattaconk 1850 Bar & Grill and in Hamden at Playwright there is an Irish seissun. Further out in Mystic, Ct., Christine's Heart and Soul is always looking for preformers. Through these contacts, you may find other musicians. Good luck. Also, I prefer playing in the kitchen--the acoustics are much better. (Okay a smartass comment.)
