pieces of paper often disappear here so I sometimes print on colour!

When I got home from a festival last weekend I couldn't find my scales which normally live in my living room & are taken into my bathroom when needed. How can anyone lose a large, thick square of toughened glass? But I did & looked everywhere - even in the bedroom & kitchen!

Several days later I moved some of the paper on my table & there it was - it normally lives somewhere on the floor ...

I won't go in to the other stuff I can't find, or examples of things I've forgotten to do (why did I go into the kitchen/bedroom/wherever?) or people's names or ...

speaking of names & faces, at a recent Festival I asked a friend the name of the man we had both spoken to shortly before as I couldn't remember his name, tho he knew me & my folk club. He said he didn't know, either, tho they have known each other & played together in sessions for years. He gave up worrying about forgetting names some years back when he was talking to an expert on brains & memory who said we only have room for about 200 names in the section of our brain which remembers names & space for zillions of faces in the visual section!
