I agree that Sam and Ed produced a very different and outstanding Folk Magazine ....FOLK LEADS ! It covered so many interesting and varied aspects of Folk.....tunes, songs, customs, traditions , clubs, history and people. They sometimes attended our sessions here in Wakefield....at Fernandes and the Bull And Fairhouse and these two venues featured in a lovely article in the magazine . They also had strong associations with the Grove Folk Club in Leeds. I believe that Sam and Ed have moved away from West Yorkshire and I think that the final publication of this excellent magazine coincided with the move. Perhaps they may read these posts and be persuaded to start up the publication once more....but the superb quality would demand so much of their time . They are always welcome in this part of Yorkshire and I do hope they will stay in touch .
