This begins to sound like another list where we get coughed at if we talk about any dance form that is not Ceilidh.
To my mind dance is dance, and those who enjoy one form may well enjoy others and there will be crossfertilization, though we'll have our favourites.
And the same with music and musicians. I don't know about the Bootleg Beatles, but in Cheshire there are a bunch that at one moment will be playing something from Playford's English Dancing master (1651) at another performing in the Fab Three, or singing Musichall or Fifties songs, or playing traditional tunes for ceilidhs. Drawing on their development as musicians to connect with our personal history.
