I have a number of guitars and mandolins and got a bit of a shock when I added up their total value or replacement cost. One guitar has been covered on my household insurance but I have just discovered that they would only pay the amount I paid for it even though a replacement would now cost double that.

I'm beginning to look at guitar insurance, simply in case of theft or damage when they are in my home. I don't really need to insure them anywhere else.

Has anyone any recommendations for insurance of a guitar collection in the UK?
