One could make a case for saying that "The Uttoxeter Souling Song" is actually a Derbyshire song. The text was noted in a long forgotten Derbyshire newspaper from 1875 with the comment that 'the correspondent, Mr. Redfern, remembers hearing it sung on his uncle's farm at Doveridge in the 1830s.'
