Cletus was once briefly inspired by the poem "Trees" by Joyce Kilmore-Oaks and tried to pen one of his own.

I think that I would like to start
A poem about a lovely fart.
A fart which blew out of Paw's ass
And scorched a pattern in the grass.
With love and strain he gave his all
And scorched Jerry Falwell on Catspaw's wall.
The believers came to see the sight
In the middle of the night.
Falwell's likeness made them pray
And the fumes were still present in the light of day.
Catspaw's fences lay trampled around his home
And they smashed his neighbor's garden gnome.
We had to paint the wall and fix the fences too
While Catspaw sealed Paw's ass with superglue.
But the glue didn't hold and in a while
Paw farted that plug a country mile.
Catspaw was pissed the plug came outta' Paw's ass
But was glad he wasn't around plate glass.
T'was still not Paw's greatest fart of them all
That one is a legend known to all.
His greatest fart, I swear on Buford's old socks,
Was the one that blew up three city blocks.
But that poem I'll save for another fine day
Since Paw just lit a match......and he's headin' this way!

Well, it didn't win any prizes, but the boy ain't got but a 4th grade education.
