Hey. I love the sound of Transatlantic and really enjoy myself when I go, but why are there hardly ever women in the main band? More often than not the ladies come out in pretty dresses to sing a song at the front - they often play their instruments, of course, and some sit with the band for a few (aka Julie Fowlis), but is it really the case that in all these years, none of them have ever met a female instrumentalist who would be good enough to join the regular band?

Appreciate there have been exceptions over the years, but generally I'm right. Am I the only one who suspects it's a bit of a boy's club?
