Sorry about that muddy problem. We take the train as often as we can (connections from Albuquerque aren't great) and have never had a connection or weather/delay issue. The same with train vacations in Canada (Amtrak cars are better, but it's hard to beat VIA food.) Next trip is ABQ -> LA -> Tacoma for Rainy Camp.
