While the tolerence of personal insults seems to be on the upswing-taking a poster to task for the use of one against a Mudcat member, (or another person) seems reasonable.

When the person making the insult does not justify it, when asked to do so-or, does not respond at all, it speaks for the lack of logic behind the insult, and possibly even the intent of the poster.
