But every historian that is put up to challenge your view, Keith, is dismissed as either left wing, not well known enough or, errr, too dead, for their views to be valid. How on earth can anyone cite challenging views if you dismiss them? Historians do not dismiss earlier research but build and enhance the overall picture. There is no one single view of 'the historians'.
