I like the idea of singing about the storms. I'm up in Canada just south of Ottawa, so we don't get many hurricanes here. We did have quite an ice storm last winter where we were without electricity for up to 3-4 weeks in places. Anyway, how about "Galveston Flood" (is this the same as "Mighty Day" rich?) or Guy Clark's "Blowin' Like A Bandit". Hope Earl passes you by harpgirl.
