Ancient people were not thick, and it is not only so called rednecks that believe creation, but many well educated also, who have had their work published in peer reviewed papers....though of course censured if the reviewers get even a whiff of creation in them. Do I keep going on about lemski ? I think rather you don't know when to admit defeat ! If I can do a bit of reading on the matter, I am sure a scientist like you can.......and then maybe show how that supports slime to shimrod evolution ......or as says snail......show me some evolution.?!!.
