OK, so it's not folk, but it's an interesting song. It's going in the Millennials chapter of the Rise Again Songbook.
I can't quite understand the underlined part. Can anybody take a listen and give me an opinion? Anybody have any background information on this song?
Sons & Daughters
(Colin Meloy)
When we arrive, sons & daughters
We'll make our homes on the water
We'll build our walls aluminum
We'll fill our mouths with cinnamon now
D G (4x)
These currents pull us 'cross the border
Steady your boats, arms to shoulder
Til tides will pull our hull to ground
Making this cold harbor now home
Take up your arms, sons & daughters
We will arise from the bunkers
By land, by sea, by dirigible
We'll leave our tracks untraceable now
(tag) Here all the bombs fade away
