"The Swingle" are playing ocally next week, and I was stunned to find otu how far they have strayed form the original vision and sound. No bass or drums, alas, no jazz at all, merely pop and other odd a cappella. It may be fine singing, but not what I was expecting when I signed up to do sound that night, I'd be interested in other people opinions based on their website: They sound kind of like a xross* between Kitka and the House Jacks.. (*Xross was a typo but I kind of like it.)

The organization has one of the most stringent and unrealstic tour riders i have ever seen, if you have any idea about that look here: Swingles tour material
SIX HOURS tio get their stuff ready for a show?

I totally loved the Swingle Singers but in the past years they are not what I loved at all...
