I will add the last verse to mine. My Dad's Mum came from Birmingham and I assumed that the song came from my Dad's Dad from Leicestershire but I have since found out from a relative that my little quiet Grandmother sang as well as my Grandad so it could have origins in Bromsgrove.
We are travelling around the festivals this year so I think I might start singing it out. Your tune description does sound similar to mine.
