Dorothy, I join Michelle in wondering how this first day went in court. Let us know what you can, depending on restrictions on discussion.

It was an enforced stay-at-home with the ice day today, which sounds like it will be the slick foundation upon which more ice and and then several inches of snow will fall later in the week. There are dogs underfoot at times, though mostly they're sleeping in their usual night-time locations. I had to hunt around the house to find one of my oven mits - Zeke had carried it off and I guess I'm lucky he didn't shred or eat it. It is kind of soggy.

I have sorted through more stuff in my office, setting aside some things to send to my daughter that go with a good camera I gave her for xmas (one of mine she borrowed and took to Japan and seems inclined to actually use a lot). A lot of it, though, is the assemblage of old cables and chargers and dedicated plugs to devices that are long gone. They'll go in the bag to the e-waste recycle bin. And, not surprising, MORE tablets of paper have gone into the bin. Susan, you'll have to resend the PM with your address, I left it there to retrieve later but with the 'cat crash, it is gone.

My taxes are all ready to go (all papers and forms assembled) and I'm almost to the sewing stage with two lap comforters (40" x 60" great for a nap or wrapping up on the couch). One for each kid.
