My friend Susie babysits with her grandson, and his parents keep taking him to a mall play area on weekends, where he frequently picks up germs. It is then passed through family members, and she has been sick for several days. She saw the doctor today but still can't keep anything down. I ran to the house to bring in groceries from the car, feed the dogs, make her a cup of decaff, and made sure not to get to close. I washed my hands well after that - the bug sounds nasty.

Making progress on my CV. It's one of those lynchpin documents that helps me move forward with both jobs and scholarship, and it has been a day of digging through files and trying to remember what the name of the paper was that I presented at this or that conference.
