cockermouth is where i live. there is often good music at the kirkgate centre. just up the road is the swan -which is the top pub in west cumbria just now. a proper, friendly pub with good beer and no electronic distractions. there are folk sessions on a couple of wednesdays a month. but on a weekend the best we can offer is a beer/scrabble and cards session. say hello, you may get a game - pete
