That's some good points made... I'm leaning towards Ebay now (even though they take 10%) because of the possibilities of the price going up in the bidding process (assuming I get some bidders)!

Point about the buyer getting a bit of a bargain noted; I assume therefore that age is not a barrier to value. There's a couple of successful sales of Fylde instruments recorded on Ebay where the seller started off at 99p and got over £600!

I'm not sure I would have the courage to start my lovely bouzouki off at 99p! However, now I have read up on it properly, I understand that what you would do in this situation is set a reserve price, so you don't sell below the price you want. As you can see I'm not a seasoned Ebayer! So my main task is to set my reserve price correctly.
