I too remember hearing this song played (quite a few times) by Clyde Clifford on his "Bleeker Street" radio show on KAAY's late night radio show from Little Rock, Ark. e said there performers were the Broadside Brassbed Band. Maybe they never officially release it because I've never been able to find any mention of them. It was a great sounding and catchy song. I remember the lyrics about Jack Johnson and coal and the rope, too.
