What a workout. The front lawn was dense but I knocked down the tall stuff and though I didn't take the trimmer out, it looks tons better. I can feel it in my back and shoulders, all of the work to push through the tall stuff.

Dorothy, do you have DSW shoe stores in your area? I found a good pair of steel-toed boots I wear in the garden when I'm using sharp tools (like the mattock or an ax or other chopping implements). I think they were about $60, a good name brand. You may need to go into the store, though, back to the clearance area to start with.
