When a friend of mine retired another friend got up to offer remarks. He commented on running into her at the local convention center where they were running a gun show. She had stopped by to buy bullets - but there were jewelry displays also so her second purchase had been a pair of pearl earrings. As a native Texan, he thought that spoke volumes about her demeanor. :)
