On the subject of the thread there used to be, maybe still is, a shop in Killarney that sold sweets at the front but had a bar in the back. Best sweetshop I've ever been in. There are also bars in both Wexford and Monasterevin that double as undertakers and as a grocers in the case of Monasterevin.
