Maeve, thank you for alerting me to the very sad news of John Renbourn's death. We (The Halliard), worked with him many times, back in the halcyon days of the 60s Folk Revival...a regular visitor to our Club In Chelmsford. He wasn't a 'friend' in the strict sense of the word, but I grew to respect & admire his talent & evolving creativity. He was a lovely, gentle-man...a great loss to Music.
