Yesterday I discovered that UPS can finally beat the USPS shipping rate ($21 vs $36 for a 22# box) if you have an online UPS account. And today I compared the regular USPS priority rate boxes vs the Priority "Regional" boxes and find those (which you can only pay postage online) are a little over half the regular priority rate. So if you're ridding yourself of clutter by sending it to others, a little research and ordering boxes ahead is worth the trouble.
