I have terrible luck with UPS. When I lived in Portland (Maine), they wouldn't leave packages at the house "Because it is against our policy to leave packages at an apartment", yet they would leave them on the front stoop of our neighbors' homes in full view and access of the street. Here in the boonies, they frequently deliver to the wrong house, even though the houses are all clearly numbered. One package was delivered god knows where, it mysteriously appeared in my mailbox two days after it had been supposedly delivered to my door and the CD inside was broken in half.

The USPS has only ever lost two items of mine, and my rural letter carrier will drop off packages that won't fit in the mailbox on my front step, even though I'm 150 feet back from the road.
