It's on the fringe of my memory but I seem to recall Angahrad Rees, as Demelza, singing and playing a song in the original Poldark series that goes:

"O' don't deceive me,
O' never leave me," etc.

BTW, I thought that clip of the more recent Demelza singing was charming.
