Well, Richard, whatever the case, I enjoy being married. If you were married to a wife like mine, you might like it, too.
Then again, she might be pretty miserable...
It has to be a mutual thing - a solemn vow, not necessarily religious and not necessarily licensed by government, to care for each other and to be generous to each other for a lifetime.
