Going back to the wiki, it's also mentioned on (wiki/Slip_jig), about the dance, it seems to say in the 9 beats the steps go
1 , 3 1 , 3 1 , ,    (or 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 )

I can hear that in Rattling, Roaring Willie
but when I listen to Arthur O'Bradley & Sorry The Day I Was Married the strong beat seems to be on the first of the triplet.
