I'm taking a chance this year, and last night I started some seeds for zinnias in those whatcha-call-ems that are made of peat and have a little hole punched in the middle. Zinnias tend to get powdery mildew, but the DH has been lucky at the blackjack table, and I can buy some spray.

And a few tithonias, which butterflies really like. Tithonias need support, though. The branches are brittle.
