and bopping them on the head (enthusiastic actions here)

Then down came the woodland fairy

I don't want to see you
Scooping up the field mice
and bopping them on the head

And same pattern as above Guest from then on. Mine was learned in the south-west of England. I think this is a very well-travelled song.
