See some of y'all in Hartford where I'll be leading a Woody Guthrie jam session and song swap. Let's see who can bring the most obscure Guthrie song. My contribution will be "66 Highway Blues," cowritten with Pete Seeger in 1940. This is the song which out-gangtas the gangstas with its fantasies of getting a gun and blowing down cops and assorted other folks who treated Pete and Woody mean.
