SRS, on cables, etc.

We just have the phone line coming in to my room. I cut the extension out and removed the bell wire when we moved to broadband some years ago. DECT phones work fine here and there is a phone in 5 rooms.

TV aerial cable splits 3 ways in the roof. They go to my room, the study and the living room. There is a further split in the living room tv and a network dvb tuner (hdhomerun dual dvb-t tuner). I added satellite last year.

The main run on our wired network uses a pair of cat5E/6 (I can't remember which) cables (main reaon was I run the cable outside and wanted some redundancy although it also gives more bandwidth) and link aggregation. It runs from a switch in my room to a switch in the study and from there to a switch in the living room. I use VLANs so our own and our guest subnets use the same cables. There is wireless in the living room and my room mostly for mobile devices in those areas.

If you'd lived in the UK, I could have let you have a 16 port smart switch for your network. I bought this TP-Link one but then decided it didn't really fit with my plans.
