The water with some vinegar didn't do much. I tried a strong mix (12/ and 1/2) on the back patio and it worked well. I'll find a source of inexpensive white vinegar (I bought 2 gallons for $2 or $3 somewhere but have to remember where that was) and try again with a stronger mix.

I looked at the model of computer my next door neighbor owns, and have researched recalls, forums talking about problems - it looks like these aren't difficult to take apart but the spare parts aren't easily found, and waiting on mail order just to see if something works means this will take forever to fix. I'll take my laptop over later and show her the options (since she can't view them on her computer). She's almost a candidate for a tablet and keyboard instead of a desktop computer.

Before doing more on her computer I told her I had to mow the front lawn, so that is finished, and I spent a few minutes digging in the garden (gumbo after the rain on Friday night) and put a couple of bedding plants in place. It's threatening to rain again. I dug up a few asparagus starts and will transplant them to the front bed later.

Winter sweaters and sweatshirts are put away for the season and I organized my work blouses/t-shirts by color. Rugs in the wash (including a large dustmop head that soaked up a lot of the laundry soap yesterday, so nothing extra was added to this batch).

The Netgear switch arrived today via USPS - one of those Amazon Prime Sunday delivery things, so I can put it up on the wall later this evening and plug in all of the lines that are inactive right now. It's like an old-fashioned telephone switchboard in my closet - if someone needs a dataport in a room that is disconnected I unplug one not in use and switch out the port. Now they'll all be up and running. Upgrading my house system for $22.
