I'm assuming you want something for internal use rather then the public. If so, a venue I work with uses a Yahoo email account. All the promoters have the password and they use the calendar to add their events. It's not particularly sophisticated, but it is free and there's enough space to add things like prices and timings as well as performers and probably other stuff too.
