I was in a pub in Doolin (tourist trap, I know) 15-16 years ago...all of the tourists were drinking Guinness (except me - Smithwicks) and the locals were drinking Bud. I guess its all a matter of what seems 'exotic' to you.

I do have some Bub Lite in the house...someone left it here after a party. It's great for killing garden snails - just put a little in a dish; they drink it and drown.
